How to request deletion of your account and associated data from any Vaalmo app.

01Your right to delete

You can request deletion of your Vaalmo account and associated data at any time, for any Vaalmo app, free of charge. This page explains how, what is deleted, and what may be retained.

Developer: Vaalmo · Apps: all apps published under the developer name “Vaalmo” on Google Play and the App Store.

02Option 1: Delete in the app

In apps that support accounts, open the app and go to Settings → Account → Delete account. Confirm the request. Your account is deactivated immediately and permanently deleted within 30 days.

03Option 2: Request by email

  1. Email [email protected] with the subject "Delete my account".
  2. Include the app name and the email address or username linked to your account (send from that email address if possible, so we can verify you).
  3. We will confirm receipt within 2 business days and complete deletion within 30 days.

04Delete data without deleting your account

If you want specific data deleted (for example, analytics or diagnostic data linked to your device, or content you created) but want to keep your account, email [email protected] with the subject "Data deletion request" and describe what you want removed.

05What is deleted

  • Your account profile (name, email, username, password hash).
  • Content you created or uploaded in the app.
  • Preferences and settings stored on our servers.
  • Analytics and crash data linked to your account, where technically identifiable.

06What may be retained

  • Purchase and transaction records required by tax and accounting law (typically up to 7 years).
  • Information needed to resolve disputes, prevent fraud or comply with legal obligations.
  • Aggregated, anonymised data that can no longer identify you.
  • Backups, which are overwritten within 90 days.

07Apps without accounts

Many of our apps do not require an account and store data only on your device. Uninstalling the app or clearing its data in device settings removes that data. To reset your advertising ID, use your device's ad settings.

08Subscriptions

Deleting your account does not automatically cancel a subscription purchased through Google Play or the App Store. Please cancel it in your store account first. See Refunds & Subscriptions.
